Cancellation Policy

Default self-serve cancellation and refund behavior in Proper.

Proper enforces a 72-hour customer cancellation window by default. If a request is inside that window, self-serve cancellation is blocked and customers are directed to contact the company.

  • Auto mode: Stripe void/refund actions can run when policy conditions are met.
  • Queued mode: requests are recorded for admin review.
  • Cancellation actions are logged for auditability.
